Man lives totally ignoring nature. He has, therefore, gone too far away from nature. He is not aware, he is part and parcel of Mother Nature. He mercilessly destroys nature according to his own whim and fancy. He cuts the forests, pollute the rivers, level the hills, poison the atmosphere, contaminate the vegetation, suck the underground wealth and what not? Nature has almost lost its ecological balance, all happened under the pretext known as “development, advancement, innovation, comfort, convenience etc.” for which man is paying heavy penalty. The impact of all these indiscreet acts boomerang and fall back upon foolish man himself in the form of varied physiological, psychological, biological, spiritual and social evils and human miseries.
It is high time for man to realize “Life is existential, and every human being has to fulfill an existential obligation in life”. Without a colossal human transformation, miseries shall never leave man, because he is verily the Creator of Miseries!
There are two types of miseries in general. One is physical and another is spiritual. One is gross and another is subtle in nature.
Physical miseries manifest in the form of diseases, obstacles, poverty, natural calamities etc. These physical problems originate from environmental pollution, ecological disparities of nature created by man, unethical living styles etc. Practical counter-measures and intellectual education, training measures etc. are to be undertaken extensively and intensively in order to change the behavioral pattern of life, thwarting man from all “anti-nature and anti-environmental” activities and bringing him closer and closer to Mother Nature. It may be a very difficult task and it may take its own sweet time, but it is not an impossible task, should the matter is assigned global importance and the task is carried out on war footing.
Spiritual miseries scientifically relate to the energy field of man. Life is possible on earth because we receive abundance of Cosmic Energies day in and day out continuously. Apart from physical body, we also have an energy body which is otherwise known as “auric body”. Due to erratic and unscrupulous living styles, we block and disturb the natural flow of energy which consequently create varied physical and mental vagaries. As a result the physiology, psychology, biology and even the soul becomes contaminated. Thus the individual suffers.
Now all these unethical living conditions and habits create negativities and negative tendencies. The collective and wholesome impact of all the negative aspects in human beings fall upon Nature, resulting erratic climate conditions, natural calamities, epidemics, new & strange diseases etc. Thus, not only the individual, but also the society suffers spiritually.
The spiritual miseries are more poignant than physical miseries, because eradication of spiritual miseries would automatically alleviate the intensity of physical miseries too.
